Don Taylor and Rogers Sportsnet Part Ways

Don Taylor’s last sports highlights show will be this Friday, as Sportsnet discontinues its Vancouver-based 'Connected' show. Meantime Team 1040 has announced that Taylor will join Barry McDonald for all four hours of the 2-6 pm B-Mac & Taylor Show M-F.

Taking their final bow on Aug. 6th were Alexander Graham Bell, TV newsman Harry Reasoner, Chicago sportscaster Jack Brickhouse, and musicians Marvin Hamlisch and Larry Adler. James Corden is a Brit who stars in Disney’s “Into the Woods” and can currently be seen alongside Keira Knightley in “Begin Again.” He also played Paul Potts in the Weinstein Company’s “One Chance.” Colin Ferguson, who’s hosted “The Late Late Show” since 2005, announced in April that he would be departing the series at “the end of this year.”
