TV Ratings: Crushing Seahawk Victory Crushes Viewing Competition

NBC’s “NFL Kickoff Game” Thursday earned a 16.8 household rating, according to Nielsen metered-market numbers, up 4 percent from last year and the third-highest “Kickoff” ever in the metered markets. Among the local markets, Milwaukee (in the home territory of the visiting Green Bay Packers) drew a 44 rating and 64 share, while Seattle (the host city for Thursday's game) posted a 42.2 rating and an impressive 73 share.
