Edmonton’s Sonic 102.9 Sends Two to JACK 96.9 Vancouver

Rick Lee (pictured) has returned to Vancouver airwaves 3 - 8 p.m. on JACK 96.9 after several years at SONIC Edmonton. His PD there, Al Ford, will assume the same position at JACK Vancouver on Feb. 3rd.

The pioneering sci-fi series 'The Outer Limits' aired for the final time on ABC-TV. CBS-TV's Ed Sulllivan Show featured songs by Mike Douglas and The Letterman, with comedy by impressionist Frank Gorshin, and Vancouver's Mimi Hines teamed with husband Phil Ford. Five years after he retired polls declared CBS anchorman emeritus Walter Cronkite to STILL be the 'most trusted man in America.' Leslie Roberts Resigns from Global Toronto

Toronto Global TV anchor Leslie Roberts has resigned from the network a week after media reports that he co-owned a public relations company, whose clients have appeared on Roberts' newscasts. Global News said it was never informed of his connection to the PR firm.
