Glen Robitaille Story Aired Friday Night on CFJC-TV
Glen was a staff announcer at CKWX Vancouver from 1934 to 1942. After the death last year of 100-year old Peter Stursburg he is believed to be the oldest surviving Canadian radio broadcaster. The video salute to Glen has been completed and aired tonight at 5 pm on CFJC-TV. It is available 'on demand' at the 14 minute mark of the 5 pm newscast, which is posted for online viewing at the station's website.
