Boyd retired, after 60 years on the radio just a few weeks back. Tony Mario Mariani and a number of folks suggested him as a 365’er and they were quite right in that this fellow is truly one of the good ones. He has owned the Winnipeg radio market for decades

When in Vancouver on my second watch there, the job was as GM of the CORUS Radio Network and the four radio stations. On the FM it was ROCK 101 and the FOX, and on the AM it was CKNW and AM 730

Radio began to interest Gerry in high school. He used to listen most nights to Vancouver’s Top 40 powerhouses CKLG 73 and 14 CFUN, as well as LG-FM and Jack Cullen on CKNW
