And newsman Edwin Newman retired after 35 years with NBC Radio & TV.

Kevin Eubanks took over the band on Jay Leno’s ‘Tonight Show,’ while Kevin Newman left ABC News for Vancouver and the ‘Global National’ anchor slot.
