.Charlo Greene, a reporter at CBS affiliate KTVA in Anchorage quit her job on air last night, telling viewers, “Fuck it. I quit.”
Greene was reporting on the Alaska Cannabis Club. Following the story, she revealed she is the owner of the medical marijuana business and was going to be leaving TV news so she could devote her time to pushing for marijuana legalization in Alaska.
You can find the You-Tube version of the video that went viral
HERE.
KTVA could only apologise on Twitter, saying rather worryingly (and hopefully erroneously) that Charlo had been “terminated”.
“Viewers, we sincerely apologize for the inappropriate language used by a KTVA reporter on the air tonight,” it wrote. “The employee has been terminated.”
The lady did what many people would like to say to their employer. She knew the consequences and what a moronic reaction from management.
She did what everyone who is unhappy in their occupation would like to do.
