Sad to have to pass on word Campbell McCubbin has posted at Radio West that a fellow CKWX newsman from the 1970’s has died. David Cassady was 86. After his stint in Vancouver David did a lot of very classy-sounding holiday fill-in & weekend work in the newsroom of C-FAX Victoria. He’s been retired for 15 years or so, living in the Fraser Valley.
Great sound, nice guy, our condolences to the family.
David was a real gentleman, with a voice that dripped like honey.
A great guy.
