Combs - Longtime ATLANTA market reporter PETE COMBS is joining SINCLAIR News KOMO-A-F/SEATTLE as morning reporter, he posted on FACEBOOK SEPTEMBER 1st.COMBS wrote, “After being a freelancer for eight months, I am proud to announce that I’ve taken the morning reporter position at KOMO Radio in SEATTLE. KAREN and I are moving immediately. My first day is SEPTEMBER 14. I hate to leave ATLANTA. I’ve had a great time there and will always have strong ties. But I’ve always said that we in radio are the best-dressed, most well-paid migrant workers in the world. So feets, don’t fail me now!”COMBS has most recently been freelancing for WESTWOOD ONE NEWS and CUMULUS News-Talk WYAY (NEWS RADIO 106.7)/ATLANTA. He previously spent almost 9 years at COX MEDIA GROUP News-Talk WSB-A-WSBB/ATLANTA and has worked for WBT-A-F and WLNK/CHARLOTTE, and USA RADIO NETWORK. He has also produced podcasts and web videos for the NATIONAL BUSINESS AVIATION ASSOCIATION.
