Wrapping up over a decade and a half as host of Comedy Central’s The Daily Show last night, host/anchor Jon Stewart welcomed a bevy of guests to say goodbye, including just about everyone who was ever a correspondent on the faux news and talk program.

Highlights included a touching send-off from Stephen Colbert and a finale by surprise musical guest Bruce Springsteen.

Meanwhile, CNN reports that Stewart’s Daily Show set is headed to Washington, DC’s Newseum, where it will become part of the museum’s collection.

Calling the set — including Stewart’s desk, the set’s globe, a guest chair, and assorted props and mugs — “a part of America’s cultural and media history,” Newseum SVP/Exhibits and Programs Cathy Trost added in a press release, “From The Daily Show anchor desk, Jon Stewart dissected the news with blistering wit and wisdom as millions watched.

We are thrilled to accept the donation of these artifacts to the Newseum collection.”
