First it was Tyler to Bounce, then Taylor to Sonic, and now…
Stephen Keppler was an actor for 8 years before going into broadcasting. This native born Edmontonian graduated from Columbia School of Broadcasting in Vancouver under the tutelage of AJ Junop. His first gig was on ezRock 106.3 in Golden, British Columbia as a morning host/account executive, then as PSR reported a year ago he moved to Brooks as a morning host/MD, then to Red Deer in January of this year running KG Country Mornings.
His new gig, PM Drive on Fresh FM in Edmonton, replacing Alex Hindmarch who leaves the station April 2nd for points unknown at this time. There’s speculation Hindmarch is heading to Calgary, and not with Corus. Looking at the recent additions to his twitter page shows 660 News Calgary, 969 Jack FM and Breakfast Television which are owned by Rogers. Hmmm, isn’t KiSS also on that list in Cowtown? just askin!
Congratulations Steve! He has worked VERY hard since graduating from the broadcasting program at Vanarts. Well deserved!!
