Chuck Todd, the former moderator of Meet the Press and a staple of NBC News’ political reportage for nearly two decades, is leaving the network.
Todd told his NBC colleagues about his decision Friday morning. It will also be his last day.
He added that he will be taking his “ChuckToddcast” with him, and that it will have a “new home” soon. He said on the podcast Friday that his exit from NBC happened “a little earlier than originally planned.”
But he also indicated that he plans to launch a new venture, one that may connect national news to local news.

I came from an age when it was difficult to determine a news anchor or reporter’s political leanings. That ship has long since left the port on a rapid course.
Chuck Todd’s agenda has been apparent for close to two decades. Calling him a political analyst or journalist is really a stretch. Not just for him but all of the MSM. Most all have seen the handwriting (wringing for some) on the wall and promoting their agendas and opinions on podcasts. If’s certainly a much more genuine approach.
