EDMONTON, October 28, 2024 – Edmonton’s [email protected], the station that plays everything, is excited to announce that veteran radio host James “Gruff” Gushnowski is joining the station as the new morning show host. Mornings with Gruff will air starting on Wednesday, November 6.
Born in Edmonton and raised in Innisfree, Gruff has spent over three decades in radio. The much-loved on-air personality was awarded the Canadian Music Industry Program Director of the Year (Secondary Market) in 2005 and the Canadian Country Music Association Radio Personality of the Year (Secondary Market) in 2000.
Devoted to all things Edmonton, when he’s not on air this avid record collector and music geek loves reading, talking Marvel and horror movies with his daughter, spending time with his two cats, and cheering for the Oilers and Elks.
