At age 80, after 62 years in the news business, legendary Vancouver storyteller Mike McCardell is retiring. He’s been telling local TV viewers stories since the mid 1970s, first at BCTV (now Global BC) and then at CTV Vancouver since 2013. His last day on the job will be Friday, Aug. 30 with a farewell to British Columbia viewers at the end of the CTV News at Six. Ethan Faber, CTV News
