Veteran CBC broadcast veteran Robin Piercey died November 18 at age 84. He worked for the Corporation in Newfoundland, Ottawa, Vancouver and Toronto. He was twice at CBC Vancouver, heading up the newsroom and later as west coast manager of the western provinces. In 1990 he joined the British Columbia Institute of Technology to fill in for the Dean of Journalism who was on sabbatical, and then served the next eleven years as an instructor.
