The Pennsylvania Supreme Court overturned Bill Cosby’s sexual assault conviction on June 30, leading to his release from a Pennsylvania state prison just hours later.
Pennsylvania Department of Corrections confirmed that Cosby was released at around 2:30 p.m., according to a Twitter post from the department. Reporters on the scene said they saw the actor and comedian leave the facility, and that he was driven away in a white vehicle shortly afterward.
In an opinion (pdf) vacating his conviction, the Supreme Court wrote that it found that an agreement with a previous prosecutor had prevented the 83-year-old from being charged in the case.

“Put the roofies in the jello, then put the puddin’ pop in the unconcious woman.”
It’s the age of criminals as politicians fooling the general public with smart glasses while hugging podiums on TV speaking with an NPR voice to sooth the peasants.
They are criminally minded glitterati who learned bad morals in our lord of the flies schools that are just like jails now and cater to criminality because they believe the same things.
Looking into the story, it was determined that Cosby’s Civil Rights were violated by the D.A. This led to his criminal conviction. A criminal trial by said D.A. was originally not to be followed through on the basis of weak or lack of evidence. The D.A. told the litigant to pursue civil action and noted he would not pursue a criminal trial of Cosby which in a civil trial denied Cosby’s 5th amendement rights. Then after Cosby lost the civil trial the D.A. went back on his word and used said self-incrimination by Cosby against himself in a criminal trial.
The Superior Court ruled this a violation of Cosby’s civil rights.
No matter what you may think a justice system must protect all persons’ civil rights. When Prosecution D.A.’s error be it wilful or not, or his/her intent to illegally ‘hang’ an accused, the result may be infringement on the accused’s rights.
For any of us to not accept this fact, then if and when it happens to you, will you be just as vehement in not accepting your civil rights violations?
