Keean Bexte of Rebel News asked Environment Minister Catherine McKenna some tough questions, and CTV News-Ottawa’s Mike Arsalides didn’t like it…

CTV Fake News, that push liberal yellow journalism, fake carbon taxes on the public… but funded by you the taxpayers.. Trudeau Liberals have announced a series of measures that add up to a $600 million media bailout. Do you get it yet voters… you’re being robbed of taxes and the media is helping Trudeau shove it down your throats.. I am surprised that Justin hasn’t required CTV reporters to wear “black face

Does this arrogant egotistical pr**k Arsaliles, (Asshat for short) show his true colours . Man, if this is an example of what and where the $600 Million from Tax Payers dollars has gone, then we’re in serious trouble. Personally, I don’t think I could ever watch ctv news ever again, but then I feel the same way about global. The cbc isn’t even worth bringing up, we already know 1.5 Billion dollars of our taxpayers money goes into this biased propagandist network is not only deceiving and trying to delude us with their lies. Shame on Them… Have you had eno;ugh Canada? Better yet, when is the media finally going to start telling us the truth, and exposing the lies we are being fed day in and day out. God help us all
I am old enough to remember when reporters/journalists followed politicians around and asked them tough questions.
Unfortunately, all these “old school” reporters have retired/died or have been “involuntarily terminated” due to budget cuts.
The 20-something year old replacements, barely making minimum wage, now faithfully line up at controlled press conferences where politicians and corporate spokespeople hand out talking points and sound bytes suitable for broadcast or re-write.
For today’s reporter to ask “tough questions” means that that reporter will be denied press credentials and prevented from attending these staged press conferences.
And, as we see here, a smug corporate reporter who is acting as nothing more than a paid publicity agent for a brain-dead politician, actually physically and verbally attacks a real reporter that was using old-school tactics to get a story.
I am increasingly relying on Rebel Media to provide a true and accurate picture of these politicians and scam artists.
I have never heard of this CTV “reporter”, contrary to his assertion that we should ALL know who he is. But now that I know who he is, an I will never take him seriously.
I’m starting to think that because of GQ Trudeau’s taxpayer-funded media bailout (and they’re now carrying his water because of that), CTV might as well change its name to CBC 2 and be done with it (and likewise, CTV 2 to CBC 3, Global to CBC 4 and Citytv to CBC 5). If this is going to be the case, then all of the networks named above have turned themselves into fake news jokes by joining CBC as Trudeau’s mouthpieces.
Voters let politicians get away with it and a large segment of voters are swayed by the propaganda. Just look at the ratings CBC radio gets. Everyone wins except for taxpayers and democracy but that’s the way corporations and the establishment like it.
There are propagandist news bits scattered worldwide, and not just in Canada. It has become so perverse that people are looking to both hardline commentary and satirical sources for their news while also getting the amusement out of the ridiculousness of it all (politics and corporate finance.) I would think that, if Justin Trudeau wants to keep himself grounded even now in 2020 during the COVID-19 crisis, he’ll need to appeal to taxpayers and small-business owners more and less on big business in order for the country to recover bit by bit, starting at the municipal level in every jurisdiction across Canada.
Does this sound impossible?
I don’t think so; in fact, I think that starting with the municipalities and townships and moving onto provincial and then federal jurisdictions would prove more practical than a one-size-fits-all approach, the latter that I observed happen in the early months since the first case of COVID-19 here in Canada.
