Matthew McBride License Decisions Postponed

For several months now observers have been expecting the twisted radio holdings of Matthew McBride (pictured) to be adjudicated and ruled upon at a CRTC hearing Sept. 5th.

But today the commission announced the withdrawal of all the various McBride items from the agenda for that date, to be “rescheduled at a later date.”  Presumably that will be sometime between now and the end of March next year, when the various licenses for stations in Pemberton, Port Moody, Ucluelet and Tofino are due to expire.

Why this change of plans is not immediately clear.
