Eganville – When Mike Keller returned to the Valley, living in a home on the Ottawa River, he lasted about four days into retirement before he reached out to the Eganville Leader, looking for something to do.
“He loved people and he loved sales,” his daughter, Tracy Keller, said. “He thrived on that timeline. He was a good perfecter in chaos.”
Mr. Keller died last Friday surrounded by family. He was 76.
Proud of his roots in Eganville, the family were known as the Eganville Kellers, although family roots go back to his grandparents in Hardwood Lake.
“My dad’s mom was a Breen from the mountain, so we have lots of Eganville connections,” she said.
