Some amazing radio last Friday on Classic Country KXA up in Everett, where morning show hosts Stitch Mitchell and Anita Moffett welcomed longtime KXA weekender Charlye Parker to the show so she could say goodbye to her listeners. She had made it to 80 and spent 60 of her years in radio. I had scheduled an interview with her for my podcast and we were going to record it after the radio show, but she started going and passed early Sunday morning.
Here’s the podcast I did with Stitch and the GM of KXA/KRKO Chuck Maylin along with a couple of clips of the show. Some really great radio.
