Yesterday was… interesting. Around 4,799 people and myself woke up to the news that our services were no longer required. Not a fantastic feeling. I had moments yesterday feeling a level of embarrassment, like you aren’t “good enough”. Then I realized, you can’t be in the same industry for 14 years and with the same company for over a decade without being somewhat competent. Sometimes life deals you a shitty hand. Things could be much worse though. I still have 10+ years of unbelievable memories and experiences alongside some of the finest people I have ever had the pleasure of working with.
