A Canadian radio icon has passed away.
Ken ‘The General’ Grant has died at the age of 88.
Grant was the voice of the morning on CFRA, later 1310, during the 60s, 70s and 80s.
For almost 35 years, listeners in Ottawa, the Valley and Gatineau woke up with ‘The General’, who was best known for ‘Forward Ho’ sign off.
