The Southern Alberta Institute of Technology (SAIT) has announced that it will be pausing its 2024 fall intake of the Broadcast News stream of its Radio Television and Broadcast News program. This decision comes as SAIT explores making adjustments to the program in response to the changing demands of the industry.
SAIT is not alone in taking this action, as several other Canadian post-secondary schools have also paused or canceled their broadcast or journalism courses. These decisions are being made to revamp the programs and address shortages of both students and instructors.

Not fair to point the finger at these students, when they all just do as they are told? it’s the beancounters who own and manage these media outlets who want the doggie stories and youbtube stuff.
