Audacy’s active rocker in Seattle, “Rock 99.9” KISW – the focus of this week’s Inside Radio By The Numbers – saw a growth trend in May that most other stations can only dream about.
For Mon-Fri 6am-7pm, Nielsen average quarter-hour persons 25-54 leaped 74% from April, vaulting the station from fourth-ranked to first, resulting in higher engagement, more listening occasions, and longer time spent listening. Overall, and among KISW’s P1s, daily occasions jumped by more than two tune-ins per day.
