Russ was an incredible talent. Big pipes echoing throughout Western Canada at 14CFUN,then Chum and Montreal. He was also a down to earth guy. Sitting in with him on the air was always a blast. Airchecks, I have many…….RIP my friend!

Was so proud growing up, hearing him on 14Cfun
Russ grew up in McLeod Lake with us, he was an awesome cousin who was loud and hilarious , will never forget you Russ, fly with the eagles…
I was privileged to have worked with Russ at CHUM as an on-air producer. He was the kindest guy just oozing with talent who was always interested in the well-being of the people he worked with. R.I.P. Russ.
Russ had a strong energetic presence when he entered a room.I worked with Russ at Bow Valley college, where he made the workplace fun and enjoyable. I loved to hear his booming voice singing Christmas carols or announcing Happy SHIT day loudly ! (So happy it’s Thursday)
Russ was also dedicated to improving our clients lives, a true professional who led by example.
I miss you my friend and will never forget the impact you have made on me and so many others.
