Former Global BC Station Manager/ News Director Jill Krop has been named Executive Director of the B.C. Lacrosse Association effective March 1. She left Global BC in 2020, ending a 35-year career in journalism. The 1986 BCIT Broadcast Communications graduate served at stations in Prince George, Regina, Halifax and Victoria before joining BCTV (now Global BC) as a junior news anchor in 1997.
