“It does amplify how much radio has changed in five years, as the place was buzzing with activity that day. I can recall how many planning sessions we had in preparation for the event. CISL General Manager Sherri Pierce was very supportive that we should do your last show big time, and that was what it was. I fondly recall having Pat O’Day and Bruce Allen in the studio with you that day. It was the end of an era and a beautiful loving tribute to a Vancouver radio legend. I was honoured to be a part of it.”
