Ian Power in hospital and recovering

We just came across a fb msg from our friend Ian Power, who in now in hospital, and I’m sure your words would encourage and help speed up the recovery. Get Well and Soon, Ian

I’ve received many messages of goodwill this week and I’m so grateful for your concern about my well-being. It’s true, I have a hole in my head. On Monday, I had a craniotomy to remove a significant tumour from the right side of my pea-sized brain. I’m now at VGH neurology under the best care in the world. Your kind messages have encouraged me to get past this hurdle. I want to send props to Margaret Fairbrother Garrison and Cal Koat for being there for me every step of the way (if I could take a step) and ensuring my comfort. And, of course, to my family, of whom are everything to me. Don’t count me out, I’ll be back! Take care of yourselves and each other.
