No doubt dating myself, but it was in 1965 in Victoria, BC, listening to one of the two Seattle radio stations which boomed into the Capital city was KOL AM 1300, the disc-jockey was Ray Hutchison who introduced this next song by a group name Chad Allen and the Expressions from Winnipeg, Canada. I can’t tell you what a proud moment that was to hear a Canadian band with a great introduction on an American radio station favourite of mine. What’s more interesting is the group eventually became known as the Guess Who!
The other Seattle radio station I loved was KJR-950AM. A Great radio station!
