Happy retirement on a job well done over the years. Chris was very good at his craft.
I worked with Chris at 66CFR Calgary in 89-91 and what a treat. Got to know him and his lovely bride Linnea. When I got back to the coast in 96 from Ottawa and heard Chris on JR..another treat. Class act and I was so relieved that he was able to go out on his own terms. Many bike trips lay ahead for that dood that I can call my friend and not JUST another broadcast bud. He gets to stay at home. Linnea is still doing consulting and PR work, and she and I have run into each other in our Fraser Valley media travels.
Met Chris when taking a tour of The PEAK 10 years ago…came across as a great guy and enthusiastic radio fan. Congrats Chris!
Met chris twice in brookswood when the cops for cancer tour headed through town, in 2015 and 2018. Nice guy!!!! But wonder if simone currently at 104.3 the breeze will move to country 107.1? Maybe even co host with curtis pope?? If not, then who will be the morning or afternoon person I wonder???
