The British Columbia Association of Broadcasters is pleased to honour long serving members of our broadcast community. The Quarter Century Club gains a new member:Dennis Walker – Cranbrook BC.July 2021 will mark 40 years in the radio industry though, in reality, Dennis started his broadcasting career many years earlier with countless hours of volunteer work calling high school basketball and junior hockey games in the mid-late ’70s in Creston B.C.Part of this radio journey included running an internet radio station between 2012 and 2015 in Penticton which started in the kitchen of his home later to be located in the lobby of the Adidas Sportsplex in Penticton.See a list of all BC broadcasters: https://www.bcab.ca/awards/legacy/quarter-century-club/.If you know a long serving broadcasters, have them fill out the form to receive their certificate and pin: https://www.bcab.ca/awards/legacy/apply-now/
