Former BCTV (now Global BC) news anchor Deborra Hope, who retired in 2014, is now living in a nursing home, suffering from Alzheimer’s disease. At the early onset she had begun to stumble over words or names when reading the news. For her BCTV/ Global family, she was in many ways the life of the station.
