PSR thanks Gord Lansdell of NWBroadcasters for bringing this sad news to our attention…

Veteran Vancouver broadcaster Lyndon Grove died August 21 at age 88. He started in radio at CHAB Moose Jaw SK in 1949 before working at a number of Vancouver stations including CKNW, CKLG, CHAN-TV, CHQM, CFMI, and CKST, along with several print publications. He also taught copywriting at BCIT in the late ’60s.
What a great individual I had the pleasure of working with at CHQM AM and FM. Where I had worked as news director from 1969 for 25 years. He never had a negative word to say about anybody. He will be missed by his family and many more he came in contact with. Rest in pace friend.
