Hard to believe but it looks like Sportsnet 650 beats NW in W25-54. Not sure what happened to the guys listening to that station.
NW has zero women listening. Why would they? NW’s audience is primarily male 55+ and they could do nicely sticking to that with that demo sitting on tons of consumer cash. Attempts to young up the audience is laughable and amateurishly done. The 25-54 female has zero interest in NWs droning on about politics, SNC Lavalin, Oppenheimer Park etc. Older males will put up with a boring format/hosts, but females will not.

NO KIDDING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
How and why do the suits that run Corus/Shaw not get that undeniable fact.
The advertisers get it. Listen to the ads, investment, divorce, jewlery, funerals, care homes etc
I will suggest this to the gurus of Vancouver Radio. Take am 650 and put a complete oldies format on it. TSN has the sports for Vancouver. Divorce the 2. Better yet, open up some real channels and finally use some real honest HD Channels and expand the formats in Vancouver. When will they wake up to what already is used to expand the radio dial. There is nothing wrong with the radio dial here, please come to the future. It’s now 2019. Doesn’t anyone want to bring in some higher revenues??? Stop running the local radio dial likes it’s still 1965!!!
