This morning on CHEK TV was the 121st annual Island Farms Victoria Day Parade presented by Pacific FC made its way through downtown Victoria, and you can catch it all on CHEK.
You can watch this morning’s telecast again with a repeat online to follow along as Stacy Ross, Ed Bain, Jeff King and Chief Petty Officer John Haggis of the Royal Canadian Navy co-host the parade.
It started at 9am, and came to a close just over 2 hours later, far cry from broadcasts in the past where the annual May 24th celebration of Queen Victoria would drag on for 3 hours or longer. This year’s theme is “Denim and Diamonds” and everyone is encouraged to participate.
The fun began at Mayfair Mall, continue south along Douglas Street, finishing at the intersection of Douglas and Courtney streets.
