Four months after flipping “Rock 98.9” KVRQ Seattle to “Country 98.9” KNUC, Hubbard Radio has rebranded it as “98.9 The Bull“.
KNUC launched within a few hours of Entercom flipping 94.1 KMPS-FM from Country to Soft AC “94.1 The Sound” KSWD in early December. The station has been staffing up with the addition of Lisa Adams as Program Director, Tim Leary for mornings, Seth Hughes for middays, and Michael Kraig Mason for nights.
At 9:00am PDT, Hubbard Radio Seattle announced another development for Country 98.9 FM: “The NEW 98.9 The Bull.” The station is still committed to playing more new country than any other country station in Seattle, with an emphasis on today’s top country artists.
“Welcome to the next evolution of 98.9, a personality all its own. More BULL, more MUSIC, more FUN” states Lisa Adams, Bos Taurus (Program Director).
Hubbard Radio Seattle is proud to be powered by people. Keep an eye out for the final staff additions coming as quickly as you can say “The NEW 98.9 The Bull!”
The New 98.9 The Bull is owned by Hubbard Radio Seattle, which owns and operates four other Seattle stations including WARM 106.9 FM, MOViN 92.5 FM, AM 880 KIXI and AM 1150 KKNW. Visit The New 98.9 The Bull on the web at 989bull.com
