A 15-year-old Cape Breton boy has started a radio station that broadcasts out of his bedroom.
Adam MacLean says his passion to rock the airwaves started in elementary school.
“I love music and I love the broadcast industry too,” he says.
MacLean says choosing the music for his online radio station is his favourite part of the job. He spins mostly classic rock – songs released decades before he was born.

While he may be a bit of an old soul, he says his fascination with the world of radio started at a young age.
“I love audio,” MacLean says. “I started it in elementary school doing Christmas concerts in grade five and I’ve loved it ever since.”
His grandmother Olive Tonary says she’s extremely proud of him.
“He’s very passionate,” she says. “He’s doing this all the time and he just loves it.”
