It seems CTV Vancouver Island is the latest newsroom to eliminate the sports packages in their newscasts. On the Monday evening and late night newscasts there was no 3-to-5 minute sports report as there always had been historically.
And Jordan Cunningham, recently the only fulltime sports anchor with the station, is now listed on the station’s webpages as “reporter.”
