This past Thursday CBC Radio’s Michael Enright aired a recollection of Vancouver’s late legendary bandleader and personality Dal Richards, who died Dec. 31st a few hours short of the New Year celebrations he was so well associated with. He made it to the ripe old age of 97, and was fully functioning and still playing gigs right to the end.
On Thursday’s episode of “Rewind” Michael featured interviews with Dal by Vicki Gabereau from 1996 and 1982, and a clip from the CBC’s As It Happens with Carol Off interviewing Dal on a notable world record in 2012.
