During its 10:00 p.m. newscast Friday night, Des Moines, Iowa CBS affiliate KCCI accidentally changed a “u” to an “i” and made a crappy story even crappier.
The station was trying to say a major brush fire shut down a Florida interstate. Though the people affected by the shutdown probably found KCCI’s version quite accurate.
