KING weekend morning anchor and reporter Meg Coyle is leaving the Seattle NBC affiliate.
This morning, while the anchors were giving her an on-air goodbye, she told viewers she was going to work for Amazon. “We just wanted to all say that we will miss you so very, very much,” said anchor Mimi Jung.
According to her bio, Coyle started at KING in October 2000. Before that she had worked at NWCN and CNN International.
It’s too bad that Meg Coyle won’t be part of KING/KONG/NWCN’s move to the SODO area of Seattle later this year. I notice that Jesse Jones, who used to be on KING will resurface on KIRO-TV on 4/24.
