I used jam BKR on many a summer holiday. Wasn’t there a BKR in Grand Forks?
BKR had a repeater serving Grand Forks and the West Boundary. The call sign of the local station was CKGF, broadcasting on 96.7 FM and 1340 AM during the time it was actually a ‘local’ station.
After one of the ‘adjustments’ to ownership, it broadcast in the West Boundary on 103.7 FM as well as 96.7 but the AM frequency was dropped.
